About Us
Caring Hands International (CHI) is a non-governmental, non for-profit, and non- partisan Organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission on 9th March 2004 Registration number RC 16,581 and was formally inaugurated on the 8th of January 2006. CHI is a community based organization which over years extended its coverage area to all the Senatorial districts of Osun State.
Over 20 years in Action
Caring Hands International started operation in the year 2004 but lunch its first Stakeholders Workshop on Promoting Welfare of the Older persons.
Since the inauguration of Caring Hands International, we have embarked on series of activities to promote the quality of life our older persons.
The main focus of the organization is care and welfare of older persons and building a nation of healthy and gracefully aging older generations to come.
Caring Hands International has now expanded its programs to include the youths and active adults especially in the area of prevention of communicable diseases and non-communicable diseases such as Drugs and Substance Abuse, Cancer, HBV and sexually transmitted infections including HIV AIDS.
Youths Empowerment programs are also run to make them financially sufficient because activities engaged in during youthful and adulthood has a link to our health status and lifestyle in old age.
The Organization also had been educating and creating awareness in the communities on girl child issues especially evils of female genital mutilation which is a very serious barbaric act of violation against girls/women.
Promoting gender equality and empowerment of women and girls especially ending child marriage and increasing political participation of women, Educating the public and advocating for their rights on good governance.

Our Plan
All donations will be use to support and run programs on Older Person Care, Promoting Gender Equality, Empowerment Programs and Health Care Service.
Our program goal is To improve the wellbeing of people and reduce morbidity and mortality among vulnerable and disadvantaged adults, children and youths. Promoting the principle of caring for one another’s wellbeing through prevention of diseases, promoting health, socio-economic development and status of vulnerable and disadvantaged persons in their respective community settings within the context of sustainable human development.
